Just found this post which shows some basic but not full functionality for using R on the web/cloud via RStudio on an iOS device. I once installed R on my iPhone roughly following the instructions on this site . These days I am much more likely to use the iPad to ssh into my workstation, and there to brush up my vi skills, than to try to run R via a browser or in directly on the device.
